What we make
Two product lines out of one plant, sharing the same steel, the same welders and the same quality control. Both are built to drawing, not to catalogue.
Product line one
Pre-engineered buildings
Clear-span and multi-span portal frames fabricated from plate, so every column and rafter is tapered to the moment it actually carries. Lighter steel, faster erection, and a building that arrives at site marked, bolted and ready to go up.
We supply the full envelope — primary framing, secondary framing, sheeting, accessories and fasteners — for factories, warehouses, cold storage, workshops and godowns.
Clear span and multi-span rigid frames
Tapered built-up columns and rafters
Z and C purlins, eave struts, girts
Mezzanine floors and steel staircases
Crane-ready frames with gantry beams
Trapezoidal roof and wall sheeting
Curved crimped eaves and canopies
Skylights, louvres, turbo ventilators
Bracing, sag rods, tie rods, flashing
Anchor bolt plans and templates
Portal frame section — tapered columns, bolted haunch, purlin run
Fixed-tilt ground mount — rafter, purlins, posts and pile foundation
Product line two
Solar module mounting structures
Roll-formed and hot-dip galvanised mounting systems for ground mount, rooftop and carport installations. Sections are formed from pre-galvanised or galvanised coil, punched on progressive dies, and shipped as a numbered kit that bolts together without cutting at site.
Structures are designed for the site's wind speed, terrain category and module layout, so the steel suits the project rather than the other way round.
Fixed-tilt ground mount tables
Seasonal tilt and elevated shed mounts
Rooftop systems — RCC and metal roof
Ballasted non-penetrating rooftop frames
Solar carports and walkway canopies
Driven pile and screw pile foundations
Roll-formed C, Z, omega and hat sections
Mid clamps, end clamps and rail splices
Hot-dip galvanised or pre-galvanised steel
Numbered, bundled, site-ready kits
Machinery on the floor
The plant at Suraram runs heavy fabrication for building frames alongside high-speed roll forming and pressing for mounting structures and sheeting. Filter by area to see what each part of the shop does.
CNC plasma cutting machineProfiles end plates, gussets, base plates and stiffeners straight from nested plate.
CNC oxy-fuel strip cutting lineCuts tapered web and flange strips for built-up sections.
CNC beam drilling lineDrills flanges and webs of hot-rolled and built-up sections to drawing.
Band saw and cold sawSquare-cuts beams, channels, angles and tube to length.
Hydraulic shearing machineShears plate and sheet for cleats, brackets and flashing.
Notching and coping machineCopes purlin ends and notches cleats before assembly.
H-beam assembly machineCentres and tacks web to flanges for built-up I-sections.
Gantry submerged arc welderRuns continuous SAW fillet welds on both sides of built-up beams.
Flange straightening machineCorrects flange distortion after welding heat input.
Hydraulic press brakeBends cleats, bracing plates, flashing and trims.
Plate rolling machineRolls curved eaves, hollow sections and cylindrical work.
Pipe and tube bending machineBends tube for rafters, canopies and carport members.
Z and C purlin roll forming lineSize-changeable line for secondary framing in both product lines.
Sheeting roll forming machineTrapezoidal roof and wall profiles cut to length, with crimping for curved eaves.
Omega and hat section lineForms mounting-structure rafters and purlins from galvanised coil.
Decoiler, leveller and slitting lineUncoils, flattens and slits coil to the widths each profile needs.
Servo-feed punching pressPunches bolt holes and slots in mounting sections in one pass.
Power presses, progressive diesProduces clamps, brackets, splices and repeat pressed parts.
Thread rolling machineRolls threads for mounting-structure tie rods and adjusters.
Roller conveyor shot blastingCleans built-up sections to Sa 2.5 before coating.
Hot-dip galvanisingDegreasing, pickling, fluxing and zinc kettle for mounting structures and fasteners.
Airless spray painting boothPrimer and finish coats to the specified dry film thickness.
Drying and curing areaControlled handling between coats and before bundling.
EOT cranes across baysMoves plate, built-up members and finished assemblies through the shop.
Jib cranes and trolleysFeeds welding and drilling stations without breaking flow.
Forklifts and telehandlersLoading, bundling and yard movement.
Pile driving rigDrives mounting-structure piles at site to line and level.
Erection cranes and torque toolsSite erection, bolting and calibrated tightening.
Ultrasonic flaw detectorChecks butt welds on primary members.
Dye penetrant and MPI kitsSurface crack detection on critical connections.
Coating thickness gaugeVerifies galvanising and paint DFT against spec.
Welder and WPS recordsProcedure and welder qualification traceability per job.
Dimensional inspection toolingTemplates, jigs and gauges for camber, sweep and hole position.
Showing all 34 machines and lines across six areas

About us
RT Infratech is a Hyderabad steel fabricator working in two closely related trades — engineered building systems and solar module mounting structures. Both come down to the same discipline: get the design right, cut the steel accurately, coat it properly, and send it out marked so the crew at site can put it up without improvising.
The company is led by Raviteja Koneru, a seasoned entrepreneur with a decade of experience across engineered building systems and solar module mounting structures. That decade covers the whole line — sitting with design teams on frame optimisation, running a fabrication floor, working through galvanising and coating specifications, and standing on site when the first column goes up. It is why the drawings and the shop talk the same language here.
Steel is unforgiving about detail and generous about everything else. Get the connections right and the rest of the job goes quietly.
Work is run out of an office at Madhapur and a fabrication plant at Suraram, Medchal–Malkajgiri. We take on projects from single-bay workshops to multi-span industrial sheds, and from rooftop arrays to ground-mount solar fields — supply-only where a client has their own erection crew, or supply and erect where they would rather hand over the whole scope.
